Hi! I am a Ph.D. student in Sociology at Princeton University from August 2025. Prior to this, I received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Tokyo in March 2025.
I am interested in social impacts of natural disasters, especially (1) how natural disaster shape migration and fertility patterns and (2) consequences of such post-disaster population dynamics. I study them in the context of United States, Mexico, Indonesia, and Japan. I also do collaborative research on marriage in Japan.
